We’re on the lookout for a Head Bartender to shake things up as part of our team. You'll be a key player in crafting our awesome beverage lineup and making our place a total hit. Your leadership, creativity behind the bar, and drive to excellence are what make our guests keep coming back for more.

What you’ll do…

• Lead the bar operations, including launching the beverage program for opening with support and guidance from your Restaurant GM
• Lead and develop the bar team, manage schedules and all staff costs
• Be creative, share ideas, develop and implement our bar strategy – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trends
• Know your product and systems inside out - you'll lead ordering, prep and inventory
• Inspire through regular trainings, creating and hosting knowledge sessions both for your team and to the wider business, expanding your teams knowledge while keeping everyone else up to speed with the beverage programs
• Lead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and develop
• Assist the Restaurant GM with the bar's P&L
• Implement upsell strategies
• Manage brand partnerships & activations

What we’re looking for…

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a top-level bar operations role, with a background in cocktail menu development, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle bar environment
• You know the Miami bar scene and come with a strong network
• Excellent spirits and wines product knowledge – ideally WSET level 2 or above
• A love for all things beverage; cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, coffee, teas
• Exceptional cocktail knowledge of both classic cocktail styles and modern techniques
• An understanding of bar financials – P&L, GP & COGs, labor metrics, forecasting
• The face of the bar – a host, a personality, someone that guests will come back for time and time again
• Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them.
• Someone who lives for restaurants and bars – you should be up to speed with the best in the business both locally and internationally
• Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues
• Hard working, detail focused, and always looking to improve both the program and the business
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You can turn any situation around into a positive experience for all, guests and team alike.
• You think big and encourage your team to believe.
• You are comfortable with the strategic as well as day to day detail.
