Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Front Office Manager to join our team in Sofitel Istanbul. As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of front office staff in our upscale hotel.

  • Manage and supervise all front office operations, including reception, concierge, and guest services
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage department budgets and control expenses while maximizing revenue
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Implement and maintain front office policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative practices to enhance guest experiences

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a managerial role in an upscale hotel
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Turkish languages
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (OPERA) and computer systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of local attractions and ability to provide recommendations to guests
