Job Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager and Executive Assistant Manager & Director of Sales & Marketing, this hands-on role is integral in leading the Food & Beverage operation to success. You will be responsible for multiple Food and Beverage outlets including Sen5es Restaurant & Bar, Fenians Irish Pub, Room service and Banquets. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the management of all outlets ensuring that revenue is maximised and costs are effectively controlled
  • Completing regular departmental forecasts and deliver on financial targets
  • Developing a strategic plan (in conjunction with the Executive Chef and General Manager) for the Food and Beverage operations to ensure long term profitability
  • Conducting regular analysis on all outlets and operations to continuously improve productivity, quality, market competitiveness and service standards.
  • Implement marketing plans for each outlet to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Undertaking projects within the Hotel at the direction of the General Manager
  • Implementing and maintaining operational and brand standards and procedures across all outlets.
  • Leading team performance management and development.

Qualifications

•Passionate about everything food, beverage and hospitality!

•Prior experience in a leadership role – people management is key as you will lead a large team.

•Current RSA and knowledge of liquor licensing, food  safety and reporting.

•A genuine ability to engage with people by being “the real deal”.

•An aptitude for financial analysis, forecasting and reporting.

•Unlimited working rights in Australia and availability to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends as per our business demands.

•You will have a passion for the hospitality industry with experience in a similar role in a similar hotel and are committed to take pride in delivering high quality food and beverage products.
