Job Description

  • Lead by example to provide efficient, friendly and professional F&B service to all guests
  • Direct the functioning of the F&B operation relating to employees, guest issues, brand standard audits, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, guests, local community members and vendors
  • Maintaining effective communication, giving direction, training & development of staff, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance

Qualifications

  • A charismatic leader, inspiring the Food & Beverage team to provide our patrons with a genuinely unforgettable experience.  Your leading by example approach will be infectious
  • Experienced with local marketing knowledge in the restaurant industry
  • Highly organised and able to manage day-to-day operations
  • Be a calming influence in the midst of a high pressured, fast paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale creating a culture that people want to be a part of
  • Foster positive relationships with other key managers, department heads and stakeholders to meet business needs
  • Be a progressive, creative professional who remains pragmatic and focused in an ever changing and challenging environment
  • Detail focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality service
  • Minimum 2  years of previous experience in managing F&B in a hotel environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
