Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused F&B Supervisor to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets, delivering exceptional service to our guests while leading and motivating your team.

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and maintain service excellence
  • Monitor and maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards for all food and beverage items
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all F&B areas
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to meet budgetary targets
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
  • Assist in developing and implementing new F&B concepts and promotions
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures and accurate POS system entries
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the F&B department

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Food and Beverage supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proven experience in cash handling and proficiency in POS systems
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage operations and customer service standards in hospitality
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to make effective decisions and work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts, and lift up to 20 lbs when necessary
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Post Secondary Degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management is an asset
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates
