We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Executive - Housekeeping to join our team in Mysuru, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment.
- Manage and lead the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and quality control measures
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Create and manage departmental budgets, focusing on cost control and efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues promptly
- Implement and maintain environmentally friendly cleaning practices
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of all housekeeping equipment
- Handle guest complaints and feedback related to housekeeping services
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping techniques
- 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
- Housekeeping certification (preferred)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and products
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- In-depth understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
