We are looking for a Reservations Agent to join the team.

ibis London Blackfriars is a beautifully designed contemporary and exciting hotel in a vibrant area of London, whether you are staying for business or pleasure. Located just minutes away from the City and London's famous Southbank, you will be within walking distance of Waterloo Station and some of the capital's most famous landmarks, including the London Eye, Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral.


    Job Description

    • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:18pm;
    • Hourly rate: £13.88
    • Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service to our guests, by phone, email or face to face;
    • Answer all calls promptly and in a courteous and efficient manner. Ensure that all relevant information is obtained;
    • Assist in the optimisation of hotel occupancy & average room rates by ensuring all reservations are accurately actioned within the same working day;
    • Offer and explain “ALL” Loyalty Programme to customers;
    • Complete checks for duplicate bookings, fake bookings etc. and take necessary action;
    • Handles and resolve all customers complaints in an efficient manner.

    Qualifications

    Your experience and skills include:

    • Experience in a similar role ideally within a Hotel environment;
    • A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team;
    • A commitment to delivering high levels of guest service;
    • A smart and professional appearance;
    • Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality;
    • Fluent in English - spoken & written;
    • Opera Cloud PMS expertise
    • Guest focused personality is essential!
