Job Description

Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Talent and Culture to join our leadership team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. This key role will be responsible for shaping and driving our talent management strategy and organizational culture initiatives, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent in the competitive hospitality industry.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies aligned with the resort's goals and values
  • Lead and inspire the HR team to deliver exceptional service and support to all departments
  • Design and oversee employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address organizational development needs
  • Implement innovative performance management and succession planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations while maintaining global best practices
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Oversee the resort's learning and development initiatives, including leadership development programs
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and promote a culture of open communication
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successful talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in HR management systems and analytics tools
  • In-depth knowledge of talent management best practices and current industry trends
  • Understanding of Vietnamese labor laws and regulations
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with experience working in diverse, multicultural environments
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is an advantage
