Job Description

We're looking for a strategic and visionary Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our organization's growth initiatives in Swissôtel Al Hamra Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all sales and marketing operations, driving revenue expansion while building and motivating high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will combine decisive leadership with innovative thinking to establish market presence and achieve ambitious business objectives in the dynamic Saudi Arabian market.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities in the Jeddah region
  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), sales targets, and marketing metrics to ensure accountability and measure success
  • Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize return on investment across all sales and marketing initiatives
  • Oversee the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and regional channels
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, clients, and vendors to expand market reach and business opportunities
  • Customize customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven insights
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and develop career paths for team members to support professional growth
  • Present sales forecasts, market analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board members
  • Ensure brand consistency and market positioning across all customer touchpoints and communications

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation, market research, and competitive intelligence
  • Expertise in sales strategy development, customer acquisition, and retention programs
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, and e-commerce platforms
  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibilities and optimizing marketing budgets for maximum ROI
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation software, and business intelligence tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset
  • Experience in B2B or B2C business environments, or both
  • Familiarity with the Middle Eastern market dynamics and Saudi Arabian business culture (preferred)
  • Track record of successfully launching new products, services, or market initiatives
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
