Job Description

SLS Playa Mujeres, part of SLS Hotels and Ennismore | Accor, is looking for a Director of Leisure Sales to lead and grow our leisure segment in one of the most competitive and exciting destinations in the Caribbean.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic partnerships, expanding international markets, and positioning SLS Playa Mujeres as a preferred luxury lifestyle destination for leisure travelers.

We are looking for a dynamic sales leader with strong industry relationships, deep knowledge of the leisure segment, and a proven track record in revenue generation.

 

  • Develop and execute the leisure sales strategy aligned with hotel revenue objectives.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, and consortia in key international markets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the hotel’s global leisure footprint.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships to maximize production and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Distribution teams to optimize performance.
  • Represent the hotel at international trade shows, industry events, and sales missions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure a strong competitive position.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on the leisure segment.
  • Proven experience working with international tour operators and global markets.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican Caribbean hospitality market.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
