Director of Health Club/Fitness/Recreation & Spa

We are looking for a Director of Health Club/Fitness/Recreation & Spa to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea.

Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently opening a magnificent project in the oasis that is The Red Sea. SLS The Red Sea is planned to open in 2025.

Introducing the newest gem of dazzling luxury to reach The Red Sea project: resort offers 150 luxurious keys, complemented by an impressive array of 7 distinct Food & Beverage outlets and a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to The Red Sea, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

Key Responsibilities :  
- Leadership : Provide strategic direction and leadership to the health club, fitness, recreation, and spa teams, ensuring alignment with the property’s vision and goals.  
- Operations Management : Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and facility maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.  
- Guest Experience : Develop and implement programs and services that enhance guest satisfaction and promote wellness, fitness, and relaxation.  
- Team Development : Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.  
- Financial Management : Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.  
- Marketing and Promotion : Collaborate with the marketing team to promote health club, fitness, recreation, and spa services through various channels.  
- Compliance and Safety : Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper maintenance of equipment and facilities.  
- Program Development : Design and implement innovative fitness, recreation, and spa programs to attract and retain guests and members.  
- Customer Relations : Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.  

Qualifications :  
- Proven experience in managing health clubs, fitness centers, recreation facilities, or spas, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.  
- Strong leadership and team management skills.  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.  
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.  
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.  
- Certification in fitness, wellness, or spa management is a plus.  
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.  

Physical Requirements :  
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.  
- Capability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
