Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Business Support, the Controlling Specialist plays a key role in supporting financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability across the hotel.

  • Monitoring, verifying, and analyzing hotel revenues and costs in line with established internal procedures
  • Conducting detailed income and cost controlling, including variance analysis and identification of deviations from budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting revenue tracking and ensuring accurate recognition and allocation of income streams
  • Overseeing and reconciling inventory counts and stock-taking processes
  • Monitoring and reviewing discounts, adjustments, charges, and transactions within PMS and Symphony systems
  • Preparing daily sales reports and periodic financial reports in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborating closely with all hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Experience in F&B operations is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with MICROS systems is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, income & cost controlling, and reporting
  • Experience working with PMS systems (e.g., Opera) and financial tools
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Good command of English and Polish
