The award-winning Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, located within the Mercure Bridgwater Hotel, is expanding its brigade as we prepare for an exciting and busy summer season.

Following some changes within our team and with increasing demand ahead, we are looking to recruit passionate chefs across a range of levels – from Commis Chef through to Sous Chef. Whether you're taking the next step in your culinary career or already have experience leading a section, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Description

We are looking for chefs who:

  • Have a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
  • Take pride in delivering consistently high standards.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Work well as part of a team and support colleagues around them.
  • Are eager to learn, develop and progress within their career.
  • Can maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of dishes to brand standards.
  • Managing your own section and ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Supporting with ordering, stock control and minimising waste.
  • Coaching and developing junior members of the brigade.
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team to drive quality and consistency.
