Calling all Commis, Demi, and Chef de Parties! Join our vibrant culinary team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Sunshine Coast Convention Centre. Our resort offers over 370 luxurious rooms, a beautiful pool, water activities, a variety of dining options, and a cutting-edge convention centre with a capacity of 1,500 guests.
At SOLA Bar & Restaurant, you'll be part of a team crafting bold, authentic Sicilian dishes, from fresh seafood to traditional Italian classics. As part of the Accor Group, a global leader in hospitality, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career while creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
We’re excited to offer multiple culinary positions with flexible roles, including casual, full-time, or part-time. If you have experience in fast-paced restaurant or event settings, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be preparing high-quality dishes across two kitchens and multiple outlets, including à la carte, buffet, cold larder, mise-en-place, and banquets.
We’re looking for candidates with diverse cooking skills, a commitment to culinary excellence, and proven experience. Your time management expertise and passion for exceptional dining will help you thrive in our team. - Trade qualifications and prior experience in the hotel industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and requirements
- Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all team levels
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
