Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all banquet and event operations, ensuring seamless execution aligned with the Mövenpick Meet Well concept — where every event supports health, well-being, and sustainability.
  • Manage the BDMS Connect Center, ensuring efficient event coordination, smooth communication, and professional support for clients and organizers.
  • Work closely with Sales, Culinary, and Service teams to deliver creative event setups, nutritious menus, and memorable meeting experiences.
  • Prepare and manage the banquet budget, monitor costs, and maximize profitability through effective financial planning and revenue strategies.
  • Manage workforce planning, including casual team scheduling and roster preparation, to ensure optimal manpower based on business demand and event requirements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and operational excellence in compliance with HACCP and hotel policies.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the banquet team to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational efficiency at all times.
  • Conduct regular briefings and performance reviews to ensure consistent service quality and effective communication within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring feedback is addressed promptly and guest satisfaction consistently exceeded.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and hotel briefings to stay updated on brand standards, operational updates, and business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in banquet or event management within a premium hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent command of both Thai and English (spoken and written).
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (HACCP certified preferred).
  • Ability to manage workforce planning efficiently and adjust resources according to business needs.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering inspiring, health-conscious meeting and event experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple events simultaneously.
