Job Description

  • You will manage the goods and deliveries moving in and out of the hotel and will ensure that these deliveries reach the appropriate destinations and logged according to Rixos’s purchasing and procurement standards.
  • Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact / storage area.
  • Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Place orders through online procurement system.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures particularly relating to food and beverage items.
  • Assisting in Inventory and stock taking of various stores.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Finance or degree in vocational hospitality
  • 2 years or more previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or as a storekeeper is often preferred.
  • Familiarity with stock management, procurement processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems and practices.
  • Ability to handle and move stock, which may involve lifting and carrying heavy items.
  • Stamina for working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety regulations, especially in warehouse or store settings.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents or damages to goods.
  • Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, shortages, or other issues that may arise.
