Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Apprentice in Food & Beverage Service at our esteemed establishment in Mysuru, India! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to kickstart their career in the hospitality industry. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow while providing exceptional service to our guests.

  • Assist in providing courteous, professional, and efficient service to guests, adhering to our company standards
  • Rotate through different sub-departments within the Food & Beverage division to gain diverse experience
  • Learn and perform opening and closing procedures for assigned work areas
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our menu items, including food and beverage combinations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace and surrounding areas
  • Assist in monitoring operating supplies and reducing spoilage and waste
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary
  • Support the team in various operational tasks as assigned
  • Participate in training sessions and actively seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Friendly and customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage is a plus
  • Ability to speak other languages or basic understanding of local languages is an advantage
  • No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
