 The Electrician position is all about: 

• Maintain and repair electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner. 

• Ensure all regulations involving electrical standards, WH&S standards, and safe working practices are followed. 

• Carry out various duties necessary to maintain hotel operations. 

• Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance schedules are carried out on services and equipment. 

• Liaise with the maintenance management team to ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in good working order. 

• Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property Management System (PMS).  

• Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment. 

• Liaise with the hotel management team and external contractors regarding all work in guest, public, and staff areas to ensure out-of-order areas are brought back into use as soon as possible. 

• Record all maintenance tasks performed, complete and incomplete, including any necessary reports in reference to repairs and preventative schedules. 

What are we seeking? 

• Trade qualification in electrical engineering. 

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.  

• Strong English communication. 

• Reliable and works well under pressure. 

• C class drivers licence
