Job Description

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
  • Serve meals and drinks to guests, ensuring order accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
  • Assist in setting up outlets area or banquet halls for various events
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems efficiently
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Provide input on menu selections and customer preferences to help improve offerings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Familiar with hotel banquet services.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus and some basic culinary skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry serving trays.
