We are looking for Kitchen Attendants/Stewards who share our passion for team work and great cuisine. This is a great opportunity for an upcoming industry professional to join our award-winning kitchen brigade on a casual basis.

In this role you will:

Under the supervision of the Executive Chef and senior chefs:

• To assist in the preparation of mis en place
• Cleaning and sanitation of kitchen including food preparation areas and scullery
• Operating a dishwashing machine
• General pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers
• Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
• Maintain cleanliness and rotation of stock in pantry, fridge and freezers
• Assist with the receiving and storing of stock
• Utilise safe and hygienic methods for the removal of dry and wet waste.
• To keep all working areas clean and tidy.  Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.  Report any problems to the Executive Chef.
• Ensuring Work, Health and Safety procedures are observed to ensure your team’s and guests safety
• To ensure our Heartiest Culture is at the forefront of our actions 

What we are looking for?

• A genuine passion for cuisine
• Ability to work within a busy team environment
• An interest to learn and develop your career with industry professionals
• Working understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.
• A high standard of hygiene, grooming and presentation
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
