Job Description

The Accounting Manger will support the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in leading the Accounting/Finance department.  This role will help ensure the hotel and Finance department stays in compliance with ACCOR policies, and will be active in completing reporting and billing requirements

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assist with monthly hotel reporting
  • Ensure hotel/company billing/credit procedures are in place
  • Complete and reconcile monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by Director of Finance, all back up and reconciling items to be submitted
  • Act as back up to the Payroll Manager
  • Additionally the Accounting Manager must be able to assist in other areas of the accounting office as requested.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Previous experience in an accounting role required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Familiar with frequently used standard operating procedures
  • Basic knowledge of how to use a computer and Microsoft software
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Knowledge of basic office machinery
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance
