We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Welcomer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Welcomer, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and personalized welcome experience in our vibrant, multicultural environment. Your role is crucial in delivering our brand's promise of exceptional hospitality and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process for all guests.
- Greet and welcome all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile
- Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences
- Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information
- Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival, based on guest status or preferences
- Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be readily available to assist or guide guests
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately
- Ensure guest preferences and special requests are recorded and communicated effectively
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, in line with brand standards
- Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Front Office or guest-facing role in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus
- Warm, outgoing, and service-oriented personality
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred
- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
