Mechanic

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu is a unique resort nestled in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on generators, company vehicles, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Maintain accurate records of completed and pending repairs using the Property Management System (PMS).

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to uphold environmental standards and safety compliance in all mechanical operations.

Essential:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Demonstrated experience servicing heavy-duty mechanical equipment and tour vehicles.

• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

• Sound knowledge and application of Workplace Health and Safety standards.

• Valid manual driver’s license.

• Legal right to work in Australia (this is a permanent position).

Desirable:

• Experience working in remote locations or lodge/hotel environments.

• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with property maintenance systems and sustainability practices.
