Job Description

      • Monitor CCTV, fire alarm and security system.
      • Maintain a logbook on incidents, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action.
      • To make regular rounds of assigned areas and observe any abnormal activities on the part of guests or connectors.
      • Be alert non-guest or suspicious person wondering around hotel, report to Supervisor or Duty Manager.
      • To assist the duty manager in inspecting the rooms of doubtful clients and assisting with suspected “walk outs” or “skippers” i.e. guests who attempt to leave without paying.
      • Assist in any fire or other emergency situations.
      • To investigate any offense reported whilst on patrol and to ensure full details are made available to the police when necessary.
      • Provide security coverage for VIP Guests, big groups during checking in/out of the Resort.
      • Ensure that all guests and connectors accidents/incidents receive immediate and professional First Aid treatment by the Loss Prevention Department.
      • Be familiar with the Fire Emergency Plan and also a member of Emergency Respond Team (ERT). Take necessary action whenever the Fire Alarm Activates. Render first aid to the sick or the injured person.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in hospitality or related field
  • At least 1 years’ experience in the sector or related professional area and impeccable knowledge of Security professions.
  • Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, power point, excel, word processing software, Internet browsers, Eagle, Material Control etc.).                       
  • Fluent in the national language, good speaking, reading, writing and understanding English.
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures to promote effective operations for the protection of people, data and property.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules that apply to job
  • Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
