Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring exceptional customer service from the moment they arrive.

  • Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
  • Assist guests with their inquiries, providing information about our services, local attractions, and amenities
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and empathetically
  • Assist with special events or promotions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of service
  • Anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations

Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and impeccable grooming standards
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality (2+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest inquiries
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
  • Familiarity with local attractions and amenities in Cairo
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
  • Ability to maintain composure and provide excellent service in high-pressure situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
