Cocktail Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage service experience across the venue, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards. This role supports daily bar operations, guest engagement, and compliance with RSA and workplace health and safety obligations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the bar for service, ensuring cleanliness and readiness at all times
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, and cocktails
• Provide excellent customer service across bar, restaurant, and function environments
• Assist with the setup and service of functions and events
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) legislation
• Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash and card transactions securely
• Assist with stock control including monitoring stock levels and participating in stocktakes
• Support revenue growth through upselling and promoting venue products and services
• Assist with closing procedures and pack-down of bar and service areas

• Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Preferably 3+ years cocktail barteding experience 
• A solid understanding of stock control processes
• Excellent communication and personal presentation skills
• Proven experience delivering outstanding customer service
• Confidence handling cash and operating POS systems
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
