Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision & Roadmap: support the definition of the Group’s ESG vision. Translate strategic ambitions into a high-level roadmap and priorities and prepare documentation for top management.
  • Governance & Coordination: help coordinate ESG priorities across region & brands and facilitate internal ESG governance, especially the Sustainability leader’s network.
  • Brand Engagement: collaborate with region & brands sustainability teams to integrate ESG into brand strategies; support them in promoting sustainability-driven innovation and storytelling.
  • Advocacy & Partnerships: promote ESG partnerships and operationalize existing ones across the organization to ensure they are leveraged at scale and broadly benefit the Group. Contribute to advocacy efforts including lobbying, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Market Intelligence: conduct market watch and benchmarking, provide insights from peers, alliances & competitors to inform strategic decisions. Stay alert to key market information (competitors closing, financial information, etc.). Regulatory Monitoring: track key ESG-related regulations and assess their impact for ACCOR.
  • Internal sustainability network animation: contribute to the animation and support the sustainability leaders’ network. Foster collaboration, knowledge & best practices sharing, prepare weekly SteerCos, etc.

Qualifications

With a Master's degree (business school, political science, or engineering), you speak fluent English and have:

  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience, including time spent in a consulting firm or corporate role focused on sustainability strategy, ESG governance, or transformation.
  • Strong expertise in ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, CSRD, ESRS).
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and animate internal networks.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, including advocacy, partnerships, and public affairs.
  • Solid understanding of sustainability trends, regulatory landscapes, and benchmarking practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and impactful ESG messaging.
  • Experience working in international environments and managing multi-regional priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
