Job Description

  • Supervise and guide the banquet team in the setup and breakdown of function rooms in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure full understanding of menus and service requirements for each event
  • Ensure all event requisitions are checked, prepared, and in place prior to function start
  • Maintain high standards of service throughout banquet operations, addressing any guest concerns with professionalism and prompt action
  • Act as the point of contact during functions in the absence of the Banquet Manager
  • Report and escalate any incidents or challenges to the Banquet Manager as needed
  • Monitor and manage operating equipment, ensuring par levels are maintained and damaged items are replaced in a timely manner
  • Oversee cleanliness, safety, and organization of all service and storage areas
  • Train, coach, and supervise junior banquet member to uphold service excellence
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training programs as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher; additional certification in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory banquet or event service role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail, guest-oriented mindset, and the ability to perform under pressure
  • •Thai and English proficiency required
