Job Description

Reporting to the Spa Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following. Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service that exceeds guest expectations:

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere during guest check-in and check-out.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
  • Host guests through the facility, familiarizing them with the surroundings, and explaining the wellness journey.
  • Educate guests on spa experiences and retail offerings, suggesting products tailored to their needs to enhance their at-home wellness routine.
  • Guide guests in making reservations, recommending multiple treatments and up-sells to maximize their spa experience.
  • Communicate all changes, cancellations, and additions to the Back of House Leadership team.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Hotel health and safety standards.
  • Process transactions and adjustments in Book4Time daily.
  • Accept responsibility for the cash drawer and ensure it balances at the close of shift.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
  • Perform any duties and responsibilities as assigned, including completion of daily checklists.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is an asset in a salon or spa
  • Sales experience required, preferably in a salon, spa, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Basic computer skills required

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Visa Requirements: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
