Laundry Attendant

Cooinda Lodge Kakadu is a unique resort nestled in the heart of Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. • Operate and maintain laundry equipment to process linen safely and efficiently.

• Sort, fold, and store clean linen, ensuring consistent stock levels for housekeeping operations.

• Maintain a clean, organised laundry area and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

This role offers future growth opportunities, with the potential to progress into a Laundry Supervisor position for team members who demonstrate initiative, reliability, and leadership potential.

Essential : 

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling, standing for extended periods, and operating laundry equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a consistent work pace.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar operational role.
• Flexibility to support housekeeping operations and maintain workplace safety standards.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment (washers, dryers, folding stations).
• Reliable and punctual, with good attention to detail, and able to work as part of a team.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

Desirable : 

• Understanding of safe chemical handling practices.
• A willingness to grow into a supervisory role over time.
