We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Health and Safety Officer to join our organization in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs that ensure compliance with Egyptian labor regulations and international safety standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a decisive approach to creating a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

• Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Egyptian labor laws and international standards
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and unsafe conditions
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive health and safety records, documentation, and reports
• Provide health and safety training and awareness programs to employees at all organizational levels
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture
• Prepare and present safety reports to senior management and relevant regulatory authorities
• Stay current with changes in Egyptian labor regulations and international safety standards
• Respond to workplace emergencies and coordinate emergency response procedures
• Conduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field
• NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) certification or equivalent professional certification
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in a health and safety role
• Proven experience developing and implementing workplace safety programs
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor regulations and international safety standards (OSHA or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency with safety management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Professional demeanor with the ability to make decisive decisions in safety-critical situations
• Valid driver's license (preferred)

•    Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
•    Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
•    Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
•    Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
