Job Description

  • Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously throughout the guest journey
  • Being the guests key contact throughout their stay - you will conduct check-in, check-out, luggage assistance, phone assistance and provide tourism information
  • Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities through strong product knowledge
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring all procedures are followed 
  • Ensuring the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality are maintained throughout the guest stay
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail when handling guest accounts, processing payments and reconciling your transactions

Qualifications

  • Be a people person – you must be warm, friendly and able to make genuine connections with our guests
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a passion for hospitality - be willing to learn and keen to progress in your career
  • Have excellent grooming and pride in presenting yourself well
  • Be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends
  • Confidence & ability to work autonomously and at times unsupervised
  • Previous experience in a hotel front office position is advantageous but not essential
