Within the Data team, you will join the CRM & Customers tribe, responsible for managing data flows to our partners and targeting our audiences across our distribution channels.

Your mission:

Reporting to the Tribe’s Data Engineering Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Co-leading the “Marketing Data Hub” Feature Team (facilitation, prioritization, planning, etc.)

• Building a strong partnership with your Product Owner counterpart

• Managing and mentoring Data Engineers: 3 contractors + 1 internal (individual follow-up, including coordination with consulting partners, etc.)

• Ensuring the implementation of development best practices (DevOps, Quality, FinOps, etc.)

• Contributing to scoping, breakdown, and high-level estimation of new initiatives

• Driving technical and data modeling decisions in alignment with Accor standards (Snowflake architecture, architectural patterns, etc.)

• Delivering Data Products (Analytics & AI) in line with quality and timeline commitments

• Managing communication and resolution in case of incidents

• Contributing to events organized at the Data team or Engineering vertical level.

What about you?

• You have a degree from an engineering school or a specialized master's degree, and you demonstrate significant experience (at least 6-8 years) in the field of data engineering.
• You have at least one previous managerial experience and demonstrate leadership skills with a dynamic, positive, and rigorous mindset.
• You have already been exposed to a business tools migration context (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Technical Skills

• Good command of SQL, Python, Terraform & dbt.
• Knowledge of orchestration tools, preferably Astronomer (Airflow).
• DevOps culture (CI/CD, Gitlab, automation)
• Knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake features and analytical/BI modeling
• Strong product culture, with a flexible and pragmatic Agile approach

Soft Skills

• Analytical mind and technical curiosity
• Ability to estimate, plan, and monitor activities on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to assess complex situations in order to anticipate/control risks
• Good command of French and English (level B2/C1)
