Job Description

Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager – CIS to join our team on the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the resort’s presence across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets, while strengthening relationships with key travel partners and industry stakeholders in the region.

As Sales Manager – CIS, you will develop and execute targeted sales strategies designed to increase market share and achieve revenue objectives within the CIS region. You will play a key role in positioning Rixos Phu Quoc as a preferred destination for travellers from CIS markets by building strong partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, wholesalers, and corporate clients.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, analysing market trends, and monitoring competitor activity to ensure the resort remains competitive within the region. You will work closely with internal departments including marketing, revenue management, and operations to ensure that sales initiatives align with the resort’s overall commercial strategy and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will also be responsible for forecasting sales performance, preparing regular reports for senior management, and contributing insights that support the development of tailored packages, promotions, and market-specific offerings for CIS travellers.

Frequent travel within CIS markets will be required to conduct sales calls, attend international travel trade shows, participate in roadshows, and strengthen relationships with key partners and industry stakeholders.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of proven sales management experience within the CIS travel markets, with a strong record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in the hospitality or tourism industry.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential, along with experience in forecasting, performance reporting, and market analysis.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to develop successful sales strategies for international markets and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales reporting tools is expected.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills are required. Fluency in Russian and English is essential, and knowledge of additional CIS regional languages would be considered an advantage. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within the CIS regio
