Job Description

As a Resort Activities Attendant, you will help deliver engaging and memorable recreational experiences for guests of all ages. This dynamic role may include working primarily within the Rental Shop, Kids Camp, or Health & Fitness Centre, while also supporting guest activities, festive programming, and special events as required. Attendants may be assigned to different areas based on operational and seasonal needs.

The successful candidate will be outgoing, responsible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where daily responsibilities may change based on operational needs.

Pay Rate: $20.05/ hr

Start Date: November 2026

Rental Shop:

  • Greet guests and assist them in selecting and fitting appropriate rental equipment (skis, snowboards, snowshoes, ice skates).
  • Provide information on equipment features, proper usage, and safety tips.
  • Offer recommendations based on guest experience and ability, trail conditions, suitable equipment, and local recreational activities.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function.

Kids Camp:

  • Supervise and engage children participating in Kids Camp and family programming, facilitating age-appropriate activities while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment.
  • Plan, prepare, and facilitate recreational activities including games, crafts, indoor and outdoor programming, family activities, holiday experiences, and other seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain a safe and fun environment for all children participating in activities

Health/Fitness Centre:

  • Welcome guests to the Health Club and support a safe, clean, organized, and enjoyable environment throughout fitness, pool, and change-room areas.
  • Provide guests with basic information regarding Health Club facilities and equipment while ensuring established facility and safety guidelines are followed.

General Responsibilities: 

  • Support Resort Activities special events, group programming, festive activations, and hotel functions, including program setup, guest engagement, equipment preparation, decorating, and event breakdown.
  • Educate guests on Resort Activities programs, seasonal experiences, hotel facilities, and relevant Lake Louise destination information.
  • Assist with activity registrations, reservations, payments, waivers, equipment preparation, and other operational requirements as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready Resort Activities facilities, programming spaces, equipment, and storage areas.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recreation, hospitality, guest services, childcare, equipment rentals, or a similar guest-facing environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills with an outgoing, friendly, and professional approach.
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic working with children, families, and guests of all ages.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and adaptable, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Interest in outdoor recreation, health and wellness, winter activities, and the Lake Louise destination is considered an asset.
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays according to operational requirements.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in changing winter mountain conditions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical duties including bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying equipment, and lifting up to 25 kilograms.

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must be eligible to work with children.
