Job Description

As a Reservations Supervisor, you will showcase your leadership and interpersonal skills to optimize the efficiency of the department while ensuring an exceptional guest journey from the very first interaction. You are the beginning of a memorable experience — making every guest feel welcome and upholding the standards of our luxury brand.

  • Ensure the daily completion of tasks and checklists by the reservations team.

  • Provide leadership, motivation, training, and ongoing support to all team members.

  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings and weekly briefings.

  • Ensure all agents are well-trained and up to date on rates, promotions, and corporate programs.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with all supporting departments.

  • Conduct regular audits of GRC, GDS, third-party websites, reservations systems, and availability to ensure rate accuracy and consistency.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports.

  • Participate in revenue management meetings and assist with reporting as needed.

  • Coordinate staffing schedules based on operational demand.

  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and delivering hospitality that goes beyond expectations.

  • Support the team in resolving issues, ensuring total guest satisfaction.

  • Attend pre-convention meetings when required.

  • Deliver warm, personalized, and consistent service.

  • Ensure the best accommodation options for guests and maximize revenue through effective upselling techniques.

  • Promote hotel facilities and assist guests with special requests or information.

  • Manage individual reservations, input rooming lists, and keep booking details up to date in the system.

  • Coordinate group bookings, maintain ongoing communication with event planners, and ensure accurate inventory management.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Hotel Reservations department.

  • Prior hands-on experience with Opera PMS is required.

  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are considered a strong asset.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management is a plus.

  • A guest-focused personality is essential; prior luxury hotel experience is highly valued.

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized and able to perform well under pressure.

  • Results-driven with a flexible and proactive mindset.

  • A true team player with demonstrated leadership capabilities and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
