Job Description

The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the hotel’s procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of quality materials, competitive pricing, and effective vendor management. The role supports smooth hotel operations by sourcing food & beverage supplies, operating equipment, guest supplies, engineering materials, and other requirements while maintaining cost control and compliance with purchasing policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily purchasing activities as per hotel operational requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and quality products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase recommendations.
  • Ensure procurement is done according to hotel standards, specifications, and approved vendor lists.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of hotel purchasing procedures, vendor management, and cost control.
  • Experience in sourcing food & beverage, housekeeping supplies, engineering materials, and operating equipment preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and procurement systems.
