The Lobby Lounge Junior Server supports the Lounge service team by assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining a polished and welcoming environment, and delivering warm, attentive service to our guests. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow within Food & Beverage and develop their service skills in a luxury hospitality environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with greeting guests, seating, and menu presentation
  • Provide support to serving team by way of cleaning and resetting bar settings, running food orders, and on occasion taking beverage orders
  • Stocking of bar fridges, rotating of stock and maintaining a clean and organized storage area
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
  • Clear, reset, and maintain tables to Forbes and brand standards
  • Assist with mise en place, polishing glassware and cutlery, and restocking service stations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Lounge, service areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Communicate effectively with the service and culinary teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
  • Assisting with set up of bar opening operations, including but not limited to hygienic preparation of fruit garnishes, juices, purees and syrups
  • Cleaning and closing down bar operations
  • Follow all health, safety, and liquor service regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous serving experience in a high-volume lounge, cocktail bar, or luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge or interest in cocktails, wine, sake, and premium beverage service
  • A confident, professional, and guest-focused approach to service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the department
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Serving It Right certification
