We are looking for Temp Christmas casuals to join our fast pace working environment to provide high quality customer service to our guests. 

Positions will start from the October 2025 to February 2026 with potential opportunities to be offered to join our team, part time or full time after your temp placement, where you can receive exclusive staff travel benefits if successful! T&C apply*

Join our vibrant team and be part of delivering exceptional service in a premium airport lounge environment. We’re currently hiring for the following roles:

Available Positions:

• Lounge Runners (Food & Beverage Attendants)
• Shower Hosts/Cleaners

Key Responsibilities - varies depending on your position:

• Deliver memorable service experiences to all Qantas Lounge guests
• Clear tables and maintain clean, tidy service areas, including buffet stations
• Support barista, bar, and A La Carte service (for experienced team members)
• Serve beverages using tray service with efficiency and care
• Load/unload service trolleys with glassware, cutlery, plates, and crockery
• Collaborate with Front of House, Culinary, and Stores teams
• Carry and balance trays while maintaining speed and accuracy
• Represent the iconic Qantas brand with professionalism and impeccable presentation
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation
• Perform cleaning duties and tasks across the lounges
• Promote a safe workplace by identifying hazards and following WHS practices

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:

• A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
• Initiative to ensure positive, intuitive, and efficient guest interactions.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
• Confidence liaising with internal and external clients.
• High standards of grooming and personal presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive, team-oriented, guest-centric mindset.
• Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Full working rights in Australia.
