Lead a Newly Opened International Hotel in the Heart of Central Asia

Are you an experienced hotel leader with a strong operational background and a passion for building successful teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences?

Mercure Khiva, a newly opened 146-room international hotel in the historic city of Khiva, Uzbekistan, is looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead its next stage of development.

Located in one of Central Asia’s most remarkable cultural destinations, Mercure Khiva offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the hotel's market positioning and establish operational excellence in line with Accor standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with Mercure brand standards.

• Drive commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability, and effective cost management.

• Establish strong operational processes and ensure smooth day-to-day hotel management.

• Lead, develop, and motivate a multicultural team, building a strong service culture and high employee engagement.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and key operational indicators.

• Strengthen the hotel's market position and reputation while building relationships with owners, business partners, and local stakeholders.

• Work closely with regional Accor teams to ensure alignment with brand expectations and business objectives.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager within an international hotel chain, preferably in the midscale or premium segment, with proven experience managing complex hotel operations, ideally including multiple F&B outlets, spa and leisure facilities.

• Strong hands-on operational background, with proven experience managing hotel operations, financial performance, cost optimization, and service standards.

• Previous experience in Central Asia or the CIS region is highly preferred, with an understanding of regional business practices and cultural environments.

• Proven ability to lead newly opened hotels through their initial operational and commercial development stages.

• Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and a results-oriented approach.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluency in English is essential; Russian language skills would be a strong advantage.
