Ibis London Barking is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team at the hotel. This position is for a Food and Beverage Team Member who will work in our fabulous team, incorporating Chef duties in line with the business demands with great possibilities for growth within the company. 

Ibis London Barking is home to 86 inviting guest bedrooms (complete with en suite power showers, 43' flat screen TV's and tea & coffee facilities), our affordable London hotel puts on a very good value hot & cold breakfast spread each morning, setting you up for even the busiest of days.

ROFILE / PERSONALITY

• Provide a friendly and personalised welcome for our guests 
• Offer an attentive and personalised service 
• Handle any comments made by guests and ensure follow-up 
• Convey the image of the brand and the hotel 

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES / MISSION

• Prepare, cook and present full english breakfast in the buffet and evening menu items to brand standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared fresh and served to a high standard of quality and presentation.
• Set up and organise the kitchen for breakfast and dinner service.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in accordance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained correctly.
• Minimise food waste and follow portion control procedures.
• Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
• Comply with all health and safety policies and company procedures.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and professional working environment.
