Food and Beverage Attendant

We are on the lookout for 2 casual food and beverage attendants to work across our venues in the resort. We have Splash Cafe and bar, a relaxed poolside cafe/bar and PoolHouse Bar and Kitchen, serving buffet breakfast, all day lunch and dinner. 

Working within the food and beverage team your duties will include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests, assist with enquiries and restaurant bookings.
• Assisting guests with menu offerings and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
• taking orders, serving drinks, set up and cleaning
• Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s), following set opening, closing and daily procedures.
• Take responsibility for your designated section and station.

To be successful in this role you need to have a desire to chat and make people feel welcome. Full training is provided and if you've got some food and beverage experience already, that's great!

Some other things we are looking for:

• Food and beverage experience is preferred, but not as important as exceptional care and guest interaction
• Barista and bar experience (preferred)
• Good English and communication skills to create connections with our guests
• Adaptable within diverse food & beverage settings, with flexibility across different schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory or willingness to get one
• Passion for engaging with guests and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
• Full Australian working rights - this position is not available for sponsorship
• Be knowledgeable of and operate within the Food Safety Program (e.g. Awareness of allergies and dietary requirements)
