The Credit & Income Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s daily Income Audit, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control activities. The position ensures that all hotel revenues are accurately recorded, reconciled, reported and collected in accordance with hotel policies and internal control procedures. The role also monitors credit exposure, account receivables and collection performance while supporting the Finance leadership team in maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily Income Audit process and ensure the accurate recording and reconciliation of hotel revenues across Rooms, Food & Beverage and other revenue-generating departments.
• Review and reconcile revenue reports from the PMS, POS and other operational systems.
• Review Night Audit reports and investigate revenue discrepancies, posting errors and irregularities.
• Monitor guest ledger, city ledger, credit card and other receivable balances.
• Manage credit control activities, including credit applications, credit limits, payment terms and overdue accounts.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain effective relationships with corporate clients and support collection activities.
• Assist in the month-end closing process and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Supervise, coach and support the Credit & Income team, including task allocation and daily workflow management.
• Identify discrepancies and control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions to the Finance management team.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance management team, as required.

• Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in hotel finance/accounting, with solid experience in Income Audit, Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control.
  • At least 1–3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a 5-star, luxury or upscale hotel environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in hotel PMS/POS and accounting systems; experience with Opera and similar systems is an advantage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under strict financial deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
