Job Description

Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a professional and customer-focused Bell/Luggage Attendant to join our hospitality team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, providing exceptional service and assistance with their luggage and travel needs. As a Bell/Luggage Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy expected at a luxury resort destination.

  • Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, transportation, and storage in a timely and efficient manner
  • Transport guest luggage to and from rooms, vehicles, and designated areas using proper lifting techniques and safety protocols
  • Provide guests with directions, information about hotel facilities, and recommendations for local attractions and services
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and special needs, escalating complex issues to management when necessary
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times, representing the Fairmont brand with excellence
  • Coordinate effectively with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service
  • Ensure common areas, luggage storage areas, and service corridors remain clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all hotel safety, security, and operational procedures
  • Handle guest interactions with courtesy and discretion, maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in guest services or hospitality industry roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
  • Physical capability and stamina to handle luggage and perform standing/walking duties throughout shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures (preferred)
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic language skills (preferred)
  • Customer service certification or training (preferred)
  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and expectations (preferred)

Additional Information

  • Understanding of Ultra-Luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-Opening stages.
  • Experience in pre-Opening is a must.
  • A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
