We are seeking a dynamic and talented Bartender to join our team in the hotel industry in the UAE. The Bartender will be responsible to the following key job responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes or customer preferences.
  • Ensure drinks are served in proper glassware with appropriate garnishes.
  • Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, new trends, and popular cocktails.
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner.
  • Take drink and food orders from customers and serve them promptly.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently and courteously.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Restock supplies (alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware) and ensure all inventory is properly maintained.
  • Check customer IDs to verify legal drinking age and comply with local alcohol laws.
  • Monitor and manage bar tabs, collect payments, and issue change.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and tips accurately.
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of shifts and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure all beverages are served responsibly, in compliance with local laws regarding alcohol service.
  • Refuse service to customers who appear intoxicated or disruptive.
  • Follow health and safety protocols for food and beverage handling.

Additional Duties:

• • Assist with bar setup and breakdown for special events or private parties.
  • Help maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, bar area, and surrounding environment.
  • Stock and clean glassware, equipment, and utensils.
  • Participate in promotional activities and upsell drinks or special offers to customers.

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills
• Basic F&B product knowledge
• Previous experience in bartending or a related field preferred
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on customer service.

Experience is an asset
Prior experience working with related system
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Fluency in Arabic & English, Additional Language is an added advantage.
