Position Overview

As Arrival Concierge, you are the first welcome and the final farewell; the quiet confidence at the heart of our guest arrival experience.

Meet and greet upon guest’s arrival, farewell guests upon departure at the hotel door. Assist in the day to day operations of the Concierge department including lobby services and security functions, ensuring that standards are maintained in these areas, efficiency evident and guests’ needs met and expectations exceeded.

 

In this role of presence and poise, you will greet each guest with warmth, attentiveness, and a refined heartfelt service that reflects the essence of our hotel. You will be entrusted with creating effortless transitions: opening doors, assisting with luggage, and offering a sense of calm and care from the very first interaction.

Beyond the door, you’ll support the broader Concierge and Front Office team in delivering a seamless guest journey; including valet service performed with precision, lobby presentation, and maintaining a secure, polished environment. Every moment is an opportunity to create connection, elevate expectations, and leave a lasting impression.


Qualifications

You will harness your luxury attitude, with humble excellence, a distringuished presence, and elevated emotional intelligence. Your pride and passion will be complemented by:

  • A full clean drivers license.
  • Your ability to initiate contacts and establish rapport easily.
  • Projecting professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Your ability to organise time and work efficiently.
  • You will need to hold working rights for New Zealand.
