Our team is looking for dedicated and hardworking Stewards to support our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy working behind the scenes, and take pride in keeping things spotless, we’d love to have you on our team!

Position Length: May-September

Job Duties Include:  

Steward + Steward Night Cleaner 

• Providing clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment
• Operating industrial-grade cleaning machinery and tools
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas and related kitchen spaces
• Assisting with culinary prep duties and adhering to requests by culinary CDP, Sous, and Executive Chefs
• General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing
• Lifting 20-30 lbs

Van Driver - Stewarding

• Drive, load, and unload food, banquet equipment, glassware, china, and chemicals between all loading docks of the hotel in a secure and timely manner.
• Assist all departments with special deliveries on-site or outside of the hotel.
• Ensuring daily inspection of the vehicle is filled out and report any damages.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the delivery truck and loading docks.
• Participate in the removal of garbage & recycling according to the rules set in place by the hotel and Parks Canada.
• Participating in departmental meetings
• Ensuring inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction

Steward + Steward Night Cleaner

• Previous cleaning or food and beverage experience in a fast paced environment is an asset, but not required
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
• Physically able to carry out the demands of the position including pushing, pulling, bending, heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time

Van Driver - Stewarding 

• Must have a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) and must obtain a current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
• Physically able to carry out the demands of the position including, bending, heavy lifting and carrying heavy items
• Able to push, pull extremely heavy carts in and out of the truck
• Able to lift up equipment up to 50lbs often during the workday
