Job Description

  • Observes Spa telephone & correspondence etiquette at all times.
  • Maintains a sound knowledge of all treatments, packages and any current promotions.
  • Ensures all promotional package sales are accurately recorded in the Spa Software to assess financial success. 
  • Show a genuine interest in guests wants and needs to assist them in selecting the most appropriate Wellness Journey. 
  • Actively seeks to identify opportunities to make the Spa guest experience memorable. 
  • Makes Spa reservations for guests over the telephone, via email, or in person.
  • Closes retail sales initiated by the Spa Therapists by providing guests with further information to assist them in their choice of home care. 
  • Processes Gift Certificate sales in person, or pre-ordered online. 
  • Works closely with Assistant Spa Manager to handle group bookings and special requests. 
  • Settles guest folios, efficiently processing payments while maintaining the focus on the guest. 
  • Is responsible for accurately completing the Spa Revenue Report on a daily basis based on data extracted from our Spa software. 
  • Ensures correct billing procedures and reconciliation of at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work.
  • Is responsible for guest refreshments at the Spa reception and Spa lounge.
  • Ensures that the reception and spa boutique areas are well merchandised, clean and free of clutter.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-end customer service environment.
  • Proven ability in providing exceptional customer experience.  
  • Knowledge of Spa treatments advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy operation.
  • Outstanding guest relations skills with experience of dealing with high profile clientele.
  • Strong sales skills to drive revenue of treatments and retail.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English.
  • Educated to Certificate level or higher.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and excellent communication skills.
