Job Description

Social Media Coordinator

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for generating content for public awareness and the consistent growth of organic social media channels for the hotel and its management.

What you will be doing:

  • Social media channels –
    • Responsible for all the social media channels for the hotel including but not limited to — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google, X
    • Proactively creating content while managing the scheduling for the different channels for result-oriented outcome.
    • Drive optimal scheduling of (2 to 3 social media static posts or reels per week and 1 to 2 stories per day (including reposts)
    • Ensure a high-quality, theme based outlook for the social media channels
    • Include relevant greeting and celebrations on social media
    • Use UTM to track customer journey and strategically place links to prompt conversions
    • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
    • Responsible for influencer management and maintaining hotel’s imagery expectations.
    • Understand and read channel insights and be extract reports on channel performances
    • Accountable for maintaining the integrity of Accor, Swissotel and Swissotel Al Ghurair brand, the position is responsible for all its social media identity.
  • Content creation and management –
    • Independently plan, schedule and manage photoshoot, video shoot and reels as per the hotel’s social media strategy.
    • Design relevant mood boards for the in-house content creation projects.
    • Work hands-on with designing tools (like Canva, Adobe) to create content adhering to the brand and hotel needs.
    • Understand and perform basics of photo and video editing
    • Responsible for relevant platforms linked on social media e.g. Linktree
    • Manage content for the hotel for on-ground assets e.g. – online menus, digital screens, and hotel chat bot — including planning and managing partner content visibility
  • Departmental accounting –
    • Manage and track accounting responsibilities for the department including, but not limited to purchasing requests, accounting and ledgering.
  • Behavioral expectations –
    • Clearly understand and align oneself with the brand standards of the hospitality industry and Swissotel Al Ghurair’s culture — and maintain a professional, engaging and friendly approach towards colleagues and guests.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments towards business expectations and objectives as per the established media plans.
    • Adhere to the culture of Swissotel Al Ghurair and manage interpersonal relationships with the team.

Qualifications

  • 2 -3 years experience in Hospitality Industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of branding, identity, typography and photography.
  • Excellent attention to detail, project and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, innovation, and creativity.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
