We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Event/Wedding) to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead and inspire our sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in the event and wedding industry.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue for event and wedding services
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales goals
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
- Oversee the entire sales process, from initial client contact to contract closure
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sold events and weddings
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management
- Manage the sales budget and forecast future sales performance
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in event or wedding sales management
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a sales team
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and event planning tools
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- In-depth knowledge of the event and wedding industry trends
- Understanding of local and cultural wedding traditions in Malaysia
- Strong budgeting and financial planning abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred)
- Certifications in event planning or wedding coordination (preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
